7 Essential Steps to take before marketing their services
If you own a business or independent professional who needs more customers? You do not need a big marketing budget to generate sales of your product or service. But you must take certain steps to "position" yourself in the market. Here are 7 steps that do not want to ignore:
1. Identify your ideal client and claim his place. Refine the type of person or company can get the best results. Get very clear in the market segment you want to go. Be specific, do not be afraid you can be to eliminate 90% of the population, the more specific you are, the easier it is for your prospects are recognized in your message and I know you are the right choice to help them solve their problems.
2. Identify your pain. What are the things you worry about your ideal clients product or service can help solve them? People buy if necessary. The most urgent need, faster and easier it is to make the sale. Identify your pain, touched a nerve emotionally, it helps to remember that they have to solve and you on track to close a sale.
3. Understand what their customers really want. What are the results that your customers are looking for an ideal? What are the real reasons for going to want buy from you? I am not talking about features, focus on results that will work with you and things that motivate them to buy (make money, save time, feel better, etc.)
4. Be clear about what differentiates you from your competitors. Define your unique selling proposition or USP, which tells them what makes you different (and better). As Marty Neumeier said in his book "Zag" to be "radically different". This gives customers reason possible to say YES to help them understand why they should buy instead of competition.
5. Create a proposal that explains the weight values that are your customers, what with the fight and want to achieve, how you can help and results they achieve. Use this as part of your marketing message.
6. Develop a powerful message. Use this in all marketing communications – website, business cards, sales letters, brochures, etc. Make sure sound clips Your message matches your target market and customer, and its market is the average (the vehicle you use to reach your customer.) In this way, the message will be people who you need.
7. Position yourself as an expert problem solver. Write articles, do workshops and seminars, a newsletter in a new blog post, anything that takes you there in front of your target audience and allows them to you is the person or company that will help you meet your problems.
Once you take these 7 critical steps will have a compelling marketing message that will help you to attract customers to your business needs.
