Newsboy Caps For Men
I want to dress like the 1920’s newsboy, but how?
I personally really like the men’s clothing during the prohibition era (1920-1933). I particularly like the clothing styles of a 1920’s newsboy, because they look relatively comfortable, yet look semi-formal. They also look slightly silly and comical.
Couple of places in the media where you can see them are: crime movie epic “Once upon a time in America” or Chris Brown’s “Gimme that” MV.
I particularly like the aesthetics of one of the krump dancers from Chris Brown’s “Gimme that” MV.
His attire consisted of dark brown newsboy cap, dark brown suspenders, dark brown pants (that seems to go just past the knees), brown and light tan plaid high socks, light tan button down shirt w/ collar, and dark brown vest.
How could I go about getting one of these set? I don’t want an extravagantly expensive hand tailored set, but I don’t want a Halloween costume type of quality neither.
If I did have to choose, I would lean to the hand-tailored.

Newsboy Caps For Men
Make Sure You Wrap Up In Style This Winter
With the cold weather fast approaching, it is definitely time to pull out the winter warmers and get wrapped up. In addition to jumpers and cardigans then, this means finding the perfect coat to banish those blustery winds and cold, rainy showers. Luckily for men, this should be no problem since there are a number of winter coats out this season, which are guaranteed to ensure you stay warm and fashionable.
Having appeared on all the major catwalks this season, the military look is huge. Grey and navy are the colours to look out for, whilst big buttons, gold detailing and sharp tailoring are the watchwords to keep in mind. Inspired from 80s designs and icons like Michael Jackson, this style has been updated to give it a fresh, modern appeal.
Bomber-style jackets have also made a big appearance in the designer collections and within the high street stores this season. Great for creating a casual, yet funky look, there are a number of different designs and materials to choose from, including the hooded leather bomber and the sporty check cropped jacket. Brown is a good colour to opt for, since black can create quite a serious look when paired with jeans and trainers.
One of the key men’s coat trends to come out this year, however, is the trench coat. When looking for the perfect specimen, watch out for well-fitting and stylish designs. However, coming in a range of styles, it is possible to stay right on trend regardless of whether you opt for a 3/4 length, single breasted trench or a longer, belted coat.
For those of you who are slightly shorter, it can be a good idea to seek out a mid-length trench coat with a belt, as this will help to define and elongate the body. If you want to accessorise with a hat, keep away from dark colours and wide brims. Instead, it is better to pair the coat with a more relaxed style, such as a newsboy hat or tweed cap.
Equally, when considering trench coat colours, it is recommended to try out the range of greys and blues that are available, although beiges and camels are also good for creating a more classic feel. Alternatively, those feeling brave can opt for some of the more unusual designs seen on the catwalk, such as the quilted trench coat or the space-age black and silver designs.
Whatever your style is, whether it be business-like, casual or über-cool, there is a coat available to fit the bill. Indeed, from the military-inspired designs and casual bomber jackets, to the new spin on the classic trench, there is a wide variety of mens coats out this season, which have been created to keep out the winter blues and ensure that you maintain a stylish edge.

I made a little modification to it…went with a different blue striped shit with a white point collar, opted for a skinny red/blue stripe mesh tie, and nixed the white newsboy cap.
It is all from Ralph Lauren.
Very nice, minus the cap
