To what extent does political bias affect the quality of education?
I’m interested to hear about your reactions to this question, which has been partly influenced by the recent Yahoo! article “Texas ed board vote reflects far-right influences”: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_texas_schools_social_studies
Do you think that the introduction of political biases into textbooks, whether left or right, affects the quality of one’s education? If so, to what extent?

Politics? The only two things we can be sure of, and by that I mean 100 percent certain is; nothing about politics is as ‘We The People’ see, read, hear or think; whatever the issue/s currently on display in the political arena are.
The other thing is that YOU can be 100 percent CERTAIN, you’re being LIED to. (all the time)
You can count on there being a hidden agenda for everything regarding politics no matter if you are right, left, a top or a bottom. *grins*
So, in answer to this particular question; look for all the stuff you can’t see, hear or read, and that is not being talked about, because what we see, read, hear and think is true, is most certainly NOT. (100 percent of the time)
And that is not cynical or paranoid thinking . . .
IT IS HISTORICAL AND PRESENT “FACT!”

A direct answer to your question would be. YES!
The only place for politics in the classroom is if you are taking a political sciences class/curse, where they actually teach you how to LIE politically or with that proverbial politicians lying face, and get away with it.
Try and always remember, these are the very people that kiss your baby while smiling and reaching into that same babies carriage to steal his/her candy, rattle, blanket and even that diaper. Then they move onto the next victim and repeat the previous action until they think they have had a good political day as they have robbed you and you weren’t even aware that they did it.
Have you ever wondered why all politicians are RICH LAWYERS first? Have your ever heard of a mid to low level income earner, say . . . A Bus Driver, get elected to a political office? They don’t have or make enough money to bye their way into such a position!
