Young teenagers writer in search of the exhibition?
Hello everyone. I am a writer of 14 years old and I'm writing in a university level. I would love to be able to get some of my writing pieces in magazines, newspapers, things of that nature. At the moment I'm working on a manuscript of a novel. My only condition is that they do puff pieces! I prefer to smash into things like the 2008 elections, poverty, culture, how the effects of hip-hop black U.S. Black America and women, promiscuity in adolescents and teen pregnancy, or anything that has at least some depth. Writing parts of shoes and designer clothes not really cut it for me. Anyway I would love any links to websites of a magazine where I can send my material. I have 14 years also true. In fact, I was doing a business plan for a magazine for girls adolescents who were not "swollen" or "soft" as I like to say. I did not win the contest to make it happen if I were one of the finalists: -) Definitely you should look at Teen Voices magazine because that's exactly what they put in the magazine. I hate to "blow" magazine with a passion too and am always looking for something's sister depth (Amen!). Voices in adolescence and print online (not everything?) And deeply encourage teens to enter their things. They regularly have articles on teen pregnancy, poverty, etc. It was originally made for the "risk in adolescents' … anyway you sounds like a good candidate for it. I'm more on the side of writing fiction so no advice. You can also start working on something in your local newspaper.
