the link above is an article about how there are cameras being put up in england…….how long do you think it would take before those cameras are in our own home??
The U.S. government is not taking away our rights. American citizens have slowly been giving away their rights by demanding that government protect them: Protect their right to a job, protect them from poverty, protect them from age discrimination, protect them from discrimination in education. Americans have insisted that they be “entitled” to everything, without working and providing for themselves. Americans are no longer “free” to pursue any “liberties” the founding fathers envisioned.
Today, Americans rely on the legal system to “get things done”, placing their future in the hands of lawyers and judges sworn to uphold laws passed by “government”.
You reap what you sow, and the American people have sown the seeds of revolution.
News Articles On Abortion Rights

Jesus is not residing on earth so any response to the abortion issue is entirely speculative. But if we use this analysis, do we get any new information for the ongoing debate? How reliable is this type of analysis especially on this issue?
“What would Jesus do” is the perspective that, if we can imagine Jesus having the same dilemma as us, we then imagine His response. That imagined response should then guide our decision in the same situation.
I once had a letter to the editor published where I said “Christians believe” about an issue. The following week they published someone’s rebuttal that said: “I am a Christian and I do not believe” the way I had presented that issue.
Thus those of us who consider ourselves Christians apparently have differing opinions on various issues. Abortion, of course, is one of those disputed issues.
I suppose, therefore, that some of us Christians could imagine Jesus as an abortion doctor. A very good one who makes sure every one of those little unborn babies are efficiently aborted.
I suppose also that one could imagine Jesus giving advise to an expecting mother. His advise, of course would be pure and right from God the Father. He could then be imagined as saying: “The child is in your body so you have the choice whethere or not to end his or her life any time whatsoever, right up until the baby is fully delivered. You have my blessing on what ever choice you make concerning the life of your unborn baby.”
But if you are not a Christian and do not claim to be so, why would you care what Jesus would do?
Perhaps the non-Christian would care because of a concern that Christians might do violence. In the past, misguided Christians have bombed abortion clinics and have murdered abortion doctors.
The Holy Bible clearly records Jesus specifically commanding his followers to not commit violence nor even pray to God for Him to cause violence. Christians uniformly condemn such bombings and murders as clearly non-Christian. Christians further support the vigorous prosecution of those criminals.
Christians advocate using legal means concerning abortion, whether they are for it or against it. The fights are in the courts, in the media, and in the legislatures. When there are demonstrations, they are peaceful.
Now my position is that the question is not “What would Jesus do?” The question should be “what did Jesus do?”

Why do Democrats like to compare Obama to JFK?
This is quote from an article on Yahoo News right now:
========================================
Rep. Ed Markey of Massachusetts said the visuals of tens of thousands of people cheering for Obama can only help his campaign by evoking comparisons to former President Kennedy.
“I think he’s in that league,” Markey said.
==================================================
JFK supported the military, winning in Vietnam, lower taxes, reduced government spending, he opposed abortion, and its clear that his agenda was nothing like Obama’s. So why the comparison to JFK?
Obama only has the charisma that JFK had. He does not have the same ideals, agenda, brains or experience that our former President held. Remember , I’m sure you were too young, but in Kennedy’s Inaugeral speech th quote he is most remembered for was “Ask not what your Country can do for you, but what you can do for your Country”. We’ve forgotten that. Now, “It’s all about me”.and what we’re going to get.. Obama’s no Kennedy and Michelle is no Jackie.. Theres another saying. “Class will tell, sh** will smell, and water seeks it’s own level”
Barack Obama’s plan for REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS
