What every athlete should apply to your training to improve sport specific speed
I need … The need for speed! So you have. Each athlete must realize that we must always look new ways to improve your speed. This is because speed kills the sport.
You can never be fast enough. However, it is not only how fast you can run from point A to point B. You must be able to be as fast as possible while moving in several directions, starting and stopping times. After all, what sport you know your change of address will not happen? Not much.
So let's get right to the chase …
The best ways to improve their sport specific speed for all Sports:
1.) Be specific – with the requirements of the nature of the speed you need to excel in their sport concerned. For example, the type of speed a defensive lineman in football is totally different from the speed required for a lacrosse midfielder or interest in basketball. So the speed of their training should reflect the demands of their sport.
2.) You will not get faster by simply running around a track – A big mistake to believe that the training has been running like a mad sprint on a track and expect to get faster. The issue here is that can have other methods of training such as stretching, strength training, core training, balance and / or stability training to you get faster.
This may be a lack of flexibility that slows
3.) Stop training like a body builder – Instead Training hamstring curl machine, try some multi-muscle movements as weightlifting (snatch / clean), squats and dead lifts. Not only these exercises better than any other type of insulation based exercise (curls and leg extensions), in fact strengthen your legs muscles (and entire body) and to enable them work together as a unit. If you're incorporate some single leg exercises like lunges, and the dead weight of a leg. This will continue to implement actions to imitate his body.
Add some clean up your training program for sports major improvements speed and power
4.) Finding weaknesses and correct muscle imbalances – You're as strong as its weakest link, and imbalances muscles always lead to weak links in your body. Take two athletes who are at the same speed. Athlete has a poor hip flexibility and weak abdominals, while the two athletes have weak hamstrings, quadriceps and tight. If all these athletes who I worked the flexibility of the hip and core strength, May 1 athlete faster, while two athletes can actually reduce performance. So fast growing in size is not an approach one size fits all – you need to focus on the first one.
If you're not assessing, you're just guessing!
There you 4 easy ways to instantly increase your speed through training and intelligent programming. The only thing to do is "just Do It!
Yes, Yes, I know what you say, "But how do I know what my weak ties, and what are the best exercises I do?"
