"Job security no longer exists. The driving force of a career must come from the person." "Homa Bahrami
In a world where statistics show 18-40 years old people change jobs an average of 10 times, it becomes essential to find the title which is within fully involved in the planning stage in the career of self-discovery. This is the first step in any process of career planning. Reconvene in this stage often causes fear and insecurity. These feelings are valid and generally appear on the precipice between what we have always known that new discoveries have yet to do, which is exactly where we are in a period of unemployment. Insecurity known, because we are convinced that the work will give us the assurance we seek. However, as Bahrami quotes at the beginning of this article shows, we have entered an era in which external security has been given the illusion it always was. Rather, we must go this journey inwards to connect to the real source of what motivates us.
It is at this stage of self-discovery where one can identify some factors including internal core values and key competencies or skills preferred. These inform the workplace and career working optimally, and to pull it. Many people have participated in some form of assessment of values and skills assessments early in the race, perhaps as early as college. However, as people grow, change jobs, change career and life circumstances change, skills and values flourish, even if you can also change. These values and work place skills base have a direct impact on your level of satisfaction from your work, your career, and even his life.
Sometimes, as in the case of unemployment our trip towards self-discovery challenges demonstrated by seemingly unplanned, and often leads to lessons that show us what is really important. I received a recent history of a retired schoolteacher. This story illustrates that he has always wanted to be a teacher "school to retirement." However, do not apply for teaching jobs after that went through a framework that nearly sent him to prison. Leaving the office, one day, when he was still an employee Post, found that someone had placed a social security check unopened in their undelivered unlocked bike bag. Two postal inspectors approached him in the parking lot asked him to open the bag. They found the check, which led him to be fired, one year probation and attend one of the greatest gifts of life – Becoming a teacher retired.
I also realized it was time to follow my personal truth and invites full-time for two years. At that moment I knew that my career was moving in a different direction, but he was not ready to let go of the illusion of security. I have not had do. Greater power it has done for me and the dismissal came unexpectedly. I took this as a call to the spirit of making the jump had been postponed. Am deeply grateful to the realization that the dismissal was a great gift.
In addition to the self-assessment formal centers, career planning and coaching careers tend to use, here are some questions to start wondering who will help you identify your key values:
o What is the biggest challenge for you in a non-work: support, competition, reputation, flexibility?
o What is most important to you in a work environment: creativity, security, independence, helping others work in Microsoft Outlook?
o What is the role in your life?
Also, please take the time to go in the discovery of self through identification of its major achievements. A major achievement is something that liked to do and who inspired (Whether or not the bosses, peers, teachers, etc. performance rewarded or recognized.) Energizes your hand, you feel good, and has a real sense for you. This achievement may be unrelated to your current career and could occur at any time in the past (school, sports, arts activities, volunteer efforts, social activities, etc.) Make a list of 5-7 of these great achievements. When you've completed the list identify the key skills were more important to you while the share of the company.
For example, one of my main achievements that I would work as an actor when I was younger. Some of the key skills in this book are creative expression, communication and the ability to develop effective relationships with others. Primary Another achievement is when I went to the Rutgers University Lesbian and Gay Peer Counseling Center during my last year. In this role, key skills have been the realization of my abilities and passion for the empowerment and support of others, the organization and leadership. I fall in the statistics mentioned earlier job change in this paper (partly because I spent a long time as a consultant). However, when I powers who my cousin and achievements Key, I can honestly say they have remained constant throughout all my efforts, and in what I can feel safe.
Identification their values and achievements have begun to lay the foundations of their own personal success criteria (the criteria that parents, friends, schools, churches have created for you.) It is the adherence to this experience has generated more than real security. You may find you've worked in environments that are not compatible with this criterion. However, now that you brought this to his conscience be permitted to inform your future career and employment opportunities, and perhaps something even bigger than you can imagine!

Why not talk with Elvira Arellano, Felipe Calderón, Mexico on improvement rather than the U.S.?
Here in Mexico, I watched the news. I saw that Elvira Arellano met with President Felipe Calderón on the state of immigration issues in the United States. My question is, why not use this precious time with a man too busy to promote change in Mexico: How can we improve our own country to nobody has the risk of death and deportation of illegal travel to another country? How can we create more jobs and provide more education for future generations? Why not stop people from traveling through the desert in the U.S. instead of giving them brochures on how to trip?
Because she does not care what happens in Mexico. His only aim in life is to return to the United States to prove a point. Remember it is not supported by many people including politicians. What Is to promote their own selfish interests when he could have put the government Mexican place to forget the poor for so long.
